Art Bernklau was a
guest on Republic Radio May
31, 2008
He spoke about VA
corruption, the new law that VFCLL spearheaded that allows veterans to take the
VA to court to sue them for compensation for service-related injuries and
ailments, and about the scandal that the US Government pays the families of
Iraqi soldiers killed in action - effectively supporting them for the rest of
their lives. The book banned by the US government titled "Plot
To Seize The White House" was also discussed briefly. The Webmaster of this Web site also appeared as a call-in.

CALL TO MEMBERS
- We are calling on
all 83,000 members of Veterans For Constitutional Law, Veterans, Service
Personnel and their families to
immediately boycott
Reader's Digest for
a scurrilous article in the September 2007 issue by Michael Crowley, senior
editor of The New Republic. The article states that hundreds of thousands of
veterans are being compensated for "frivolous" things such as drug and alcohol
abuse, sexually-transmitted diseases, smoking cessation, et al., implying
that the funds used for these purposes are draining the system, and could be put
to better use. Art Bernklau, executive director of Veterans For Constitutional
Law contacted the three "sources" cited in the article, and
each of the three sources,
learning of what had been published in the article, said that they were either
misquoted, or quoted out-of-context.
If you are a Serviceman, Veteran, a member of their family, or a citizen that
cares about our troops, we ask you to immediately cancel your subscription to
